Mental Prayer

Updated: Aug 28, 2023

Mental Prayer, Spiritual and Scripture Readings among others enlighten our minds, heart and soul with the truth

JOHN 17:17-20

“Consecrate them in the truth. Your word is truth. As you sent me into the

world, so I sent them into the world. And I consecrate myself for them, so

that they also may be consecrated in truth. “I pray not only for them, but

also for those who will believe in me through their word.”

REFLECTION

Our contemplative life is a witness in union with Christ Jesus to a life of prayer and sacrifice … our life of unceasing prayer is not only for ourselves but for others- as St. Teresa of Avila puts it very well that we should pray for the sanctification of priests and salvation of souls.
